Green Light Trust – Final Figure

Gascoynes have been raising money for Green Light Trust.

Green Light Trust use the power of nature to rebuild, reawaken and refocus the lives of those who may not necessarily have access to nature. They work with thousands of people each year ranging from 4-84 years of age, giving support to those who are most vulnerable and marginalised in society.

We have managed to raise a total amount of £7,459 (£6,944 excluding Gift Aid) through different fundraisers throughout 2022.

Green Light Trust – Final Figure

To start off the fundraising, in August a group of brave employees took on the challenge of walking all the way to the top of Snowdon. this was a huge challenge for these employees which required training and determination. Not only did the team power through and all make it to the top, they completed this during one of the extreme heat waves last summer!

This raised a huge part of our fundraising balance and we are really thankful for everyone who took their time to support us.

After we had completed Snowdon we wanted to do something else to top up the funds and push our fundraising a little further, so we put on a quiz night which invited the general public to come along and help up raise money. This was a huge success and saw us go well over our initial target of funds.

We had loads of amazing prizes very kindly donated to us to raffle off, and our raffle tickets fully sold out! The quiz itself was very professionally run by John Evans and our fundraising team.

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who kindly supported us to complete our fundraising for Green Light Trust – who we know are extremely grateful for the donations. Also a thank you to all the staff at Gascoynes who worked together as a team to push through the challenges that this years fundraising brought up.

As a team we were able to raise an impressive £3,472 which Gascoynes generously matched, and after the Gift Aid was added on it gave us a massive total of £7,459.

We are really proud of what we have achieved as a firm and are looking forward to see what we can achieve in 2023 for our next charity
