Green Light Trust use the power of nature to rebuild, reawaken and refocus the lives of those who may not necessarily have access to nature. They work with thousands of people each year ranging from 4-84 years of age, giving support to those who are most vulnerable and marginalised in society.
The work they do also helps in allowing them to get back into society and deal with day to day life, reducing their reliance on the NHS services. They have seen a reduction in A&E visits in the people they work with by an average of 1.75 per annum.
More details about what they do can be found on their website: Our Impact Explained
To help us raise funds for Green Light Trust there are 14 members of Gascoynes aiming to climb Snowdon in August this year!
We are looking to raise £2,500 from the public to help raise funds so they are able to purchase a container to house a sawmill and workshop which can also be used as a learning area to be able to provide further support to the people they are working with.
Any donations to help us raise this money would be greatly appreciated, (and keep us motivated in our training!)
