Wymondham office is on the move!

A blog by Louise Hollands

Wymondham office is on the move – physically and metaphorically!

In June 2020, I wrote a blog setting out my plans for our Wymondham office and the key pillars that I recognised as vital to create a positive experience for our clients.

Well, fast forward nearly two years and the hard work is (dare I say it!) starting to pay off!

Wymondham office is on the move!

Following a consistent period of growth, we have recruited Holly a new member of staff based in our Wymondham office. Holly is studying towards her Chartered Accountancy qualification and since starting at the beginning of February has settled in well and is becoming a key member of our team.

BUT we are not stopping there!

I am very excited to announce we are moving to a larger permanent office in Wymondham at Elm Farm Business Park and will be moving in following an office refit in mid- April 2022!

I am thrilled and proud that our hard work has enabled the Directors to confidently invest in our office and recognise our potential. The new office has been designed to provide us with a formal meeting area and a break-out area that encourages collaboration. This space with be vital for me being able to lead the team to the next level and push to improve and enhance our services further. A space where we can train staff and share ideas – I am so excited!

The last two years working through the COVID pandemic have been exceptionally hard but I am so proud that our hard work is coming to fruition.

The core pillars do not change:

  • Client knowledge/relationship – we need to continually invest time in understanding what our existing and future clients do, how they do it and why – what are their goals?
  • Technical ability – we must continue to learn and develop our technical knowledge and our use of software.
  • Being proactive – we need to continually evaluate every client’s profit extraction method, provide guidance on any tax planning opportunities, make recommendations of software that may aid their business – always ask “can we do it better?”

Even though I feel like we have ‘TICKED’ off some big points on my master plan (yep, I have a master plan!) with the additional staff and new office. I know the hard work will continue and to be honest…I can’t wait, so many ideas, so many great clients still to meet and help. It’s going to be fantastic!
